The 91成人 (91成人), the voice of the U.S. semiconductor industry, is seeking a Policy Associate, Government Affairs, to help develop and advance the policy goals of 91成人 and our member companies.聽 Information about 91成人 is available at www.semiconductors.org.
Responsibilities will include a range of policy priorities of the semiconductor industry, including guiding the industry鈥檚 strategy and positioning on matters relating to manufacturing incentives and supply chain, tax, export control, trade, research funding, workforce development, and environmental matters. This position will contribute to the 91成人 Government Affairs team and engage in advocacy before Congress, the Administration, and federal departments and agencies. This position engages in the daily monitoring of policy developments, provides timely and effective information and analysis to member companies, coordinates the industry鈥檚 position on policy matters, and implements the industry鈥檚 advocacy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree (BA or BS) is required; a graduate degree is strongly preferred. Policy knowledge and experience is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience on policy matters, including experience on the Hill or the federal government, policy, or consulting.
- An understanding of the technical and policy issues and political landscape and the federal legislative and regulatory process.
- Strong analytical skills and outstanding judgment in evaluating legislative, regulatory, and policy developments and creating the necessary strategies, supporting information, and written documents to achieve the industry鈥檚 business and policy goals.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills and an ability to allow the individual to advocate on issues effectively with lawmakers, policy makers, regulators and other key officials, and to interact with senior executives in member companies.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team to produce high quality work, often under significant time pressure.

SALARY:
Pursuant to the D.C. 鈥淲age Transparency Omnibus Amendment Act of 2023,鈥� the salary range for this position is expected to be $100,000 to $125,000 and includes excellent benefits. The final salary offered will be based on qualifications and experience.
