鈥淒uring tonight鈥檚 State of the Union Address, President Biden highlighted last year鈥檚 historic enactment of the CHIPS and Science Act, a landmark new law that will greatly strengthen America鈥檚 economy, national security, and semiconductor supply chains. Companies in the semiconductor ecosystem have responded enthusiastically since the CHIPS Act was introduced, announcing new projects across America totaling hundreds of billions of dollars in private investments and supporting hundreds of thousands of U.S. jobs.

鈥淲e applaud President Biden and leaders in Congress for their tireless work to enact the CHIPS Act and urge the administration to ensure the CHIPS Act is implemented in an effective, efficient, and timely manner. Doing so will maximize the new law鈥檚 impact and reinvigorate chip production and innovation in America for many years to come.
