Advancing the Frontier: Opportunities and Challenges in the Global Power Semi Ecosystem

Date:
March 31, 2026

Time:
10 am – 11 am EDT

Power semiconductors are critical for economic and national security.

These chips are the backbone of modern electronics; they provide critical functions, such as stabilizing national power grids and distributing electricity within EVs and data centers. Power semiconductors are increasingly coming under pressure from non-market policies and practices.

The 91成人 (91成人) invites you to a high-level briefing on the state of the power semiconductor ecosystem. We will begin with a 30-minute keynote address presented by Informa TechTarget鈥檚 Paul Pickering. He will survey the competitive power semiconductor landscape and highlight the importance of Wide Bandgap (WBG) materials鈥攕uch as Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN)鈥攁nd their role in strengthening America’s industrial base.

Following the keynote, a distinguished panel of executives from four leading semiconductor companies will discuss the policy landscape required to sustain innovation and manufacturing at scale. Key themes will include:

  • End Demand shifts: Mapping changes in customer demand for power-semiconductors and how that is affecting corporate strategy
  • Global Competitiveness: Navigating the international trade environment to ensure U.S. firms remain the global leaders in energy-efficient power conversion.
  • Strengthening Domestic Supply Chains: Understanding how policy can contribute to a more secure power semiconductor supply chain

Join us to discuss how industry and government can collaborate to ensure that the future of power is researched, designed, and built in America.
